Intense nose with aromas of wild berries, flowers and red berries, along with hints of caramel. Medium-bodied with freshness and concentration. Soft tannins are perfectly integrated.
Aged for 18 months in barriques and at least for 24 months in bottle and it expresses itself with notes of fruits jam and Mediterranean spices, noble woods and balsamic herbs. On the palate is structured, full-bodied, balanced and very persistent.
Aromas and flavors of black cherries and currants, with pleasantly herbal bay leaf and spice on the finish. Moderate oak gives structure. Good everyday value for those who prefer dry style zinfandels. Great with anything barbecued or grilled.
The intense bouquet is reminiscent of wild blackberries and its flavor is full-bodied and structured, typical of Cannonau grapes. Like any great red, it goes well with barbecued red meat, game and medium mature cheeses.
Encouraged the development of rich fruit characteristics and a plush, full mouthfeel. French and American oak aging complement the dark fruit character with sweet, layered nuances of mocha and caramel. A touch of Petite Sirah and Merlot enhances the wine’s roundness and depth.
Aged in oak, the wines are elegant, with good structure, which combine the aromas of the grape varieties used and give a persistent and complex flavor.
Bright soft-hued ruby. Delicately fruity on the nose reminiscent of cherry and toasted almonds, juicy on the palate, extremely quaffable and elegant on the finish.
