Serge Dagueneau and his daughter, Valerie, are the uncle and cousin, respectively, of Didier Dagueneau. Their “Les Pentes” is marked by a distinctly ripe-tasting, rich, mineral quality which comes from Sauvignon harvested at its peak of maturity. Hand-harvested, free-run juice is fermented only using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, élevage sees some lees-stirring.
