On the nose, enticing aromas of violet and smoke give way, most intriguingly, to notes of biltong. The palate is supple and sweet, and infused with blackberry, cherry and plum flavors. Very velvety in texture, the wine is also juicy and sharp. Tannins are well-incorporated, and the finish lengthy and elegant.
