This Chardonnay displays an intensity and fresh balance that is characteristic of this unique winegrowing region. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel retained the crisp fruit character. Approximately 30 percent of the wine went through secondary malolactic fermentation and light aging in French oak to build structure, round the edges and impart the soft, pleasing mouthfeel.
