Made from the peel of Curacao oranges, Hiram Walker® Blue Curacao is a delicately flavored orange cordial that takes its name from the Caribbean Island of Curacao.
Velvety nose, with strong notes of candied oranges, very pleasant floral bouquet (sweet and bitter oranges). Round and creamy mouth with an aromatic body dominated by citrus notes.
A blend of fine cognac and orange essence. Entry is off dry and intensely orange; at midpalate the taste increases in orange concentration, advancing from off dry to bittersweet and is intensely citrusy. Finishes with orange panache and delicacy. A lovely triple sec.
For this liqueur, an infusion is made of both green and red rhubarb to achieve a perfect balance between tart and sweet. An aroma of strawberry candy and fresh rhubarb stalk transforms on the palate into stewed rhubarb and red berry marmalade with a slightly vegetal finish.
