La Gritona Reposado is distilled by Melly Cardenas at NOM 1533 in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. This repo is aged for 8 months and then bottled in a hand blown bottle made from recycled Mexican Coke bottles. The nose is great. It’s full of green vegetal agave, minerals and some slight white pepper. I first taste fresh agave and pepper followed by bright citrus and then a pleasant medium finish.
