On the nose, I Immediately get agave and butterscotch coming up from the glass before I really started smelling it. Some fruitiness, citrus, oak. That grassy note I get from the blanco is there but subdued and much more pleasant here. On the palate, I am definitely getting the oak, some vanilla and a little bit of ethanol. Some caramel, and hints of plum and melon. Agave is there but it’s caught up in the medley of other stuff for me. Solid. Definitely more enjoyable than the blanco for me, which isn’t a dig on the blanco, just that I like this expression a lot more. I would definitely recommend as a decent budget sipper or a higher end mixer.
